Polaris is a renewable resource company currently focused on the development of renewable energy in Latin America. Polaris is currently developing a 66 MW geothermal project on its San Jacinto Tizate concession in Nicaragua.
The San Jacinto Tizate concession has two known resources, R-1 and R-2. Preliminary reports from Polaris engineering consultants Sinclair Knight Merz indicate that these two resources are connected and have a 90% probability of producing greater than 173 MW and a 50% probability of producing greater than 240 MW. In Nicaragua, Polaris has rights to develop two additional concessions: Casita (115MW) and Larreynaga (10MW potential).
Polaris's common shares are listed for trading in Canada on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol GEO
